The Meridian Stadium
The Meridian Stadium was a scheme designed while Sean Albuquerque was a director of AND Architects for a prospective purchaser of an empty site adjacent to the Millennium Dome (now the O2) on the Greenwich peninsula.

The concept was for a 2-3 tier arena with a capacity up to 50,000, capable of being covered, and with a large open concourse for maximum flexibility of access, greater airflow across the pitch for better playing field health, and maximum visual impact on entering the stadium.
