The Centre for Organic Horticulture

The Centre for Organic Horticulture houses the offices of HDRA, Europe’s largest membership organisation for those interested in organic horticulture.

Originally employed to produce a master plan for HDRA’s 10 acre headquarters site in Green Belt land at Ryton-on-Dunsmore near Coventry, we were appointed to develop a modular design for offices to be constructed in a number of phases.

The buildings were designed to be constructed around a large open courtyard garden for the enjoyment of staff and members, in seven small phases, allowing for the vagaries of charity fund-raising. There is one further phase remaining which will create a second, equally large courtyard between the Centre and the restaurant and conference facilities.
