We carry out many extensions and alterations to existing buildings. These range from the updating of a kitchen or bathroom to major renovation of large commercial buildings. We have extensive experience of working within a historic setting and have worked on every type of historical building from Grade 2 to Scheduled Ancient Monuments. Our preference is for interventions in existing buildings to stand apart from the historic fabric and speak of their own time, rather than attempt to blend in with the past by creating pastiche. We favour the use of simple lines and natural materials allowing the building and its surroundings to speak for themselves.
